The role involves grind back and re-weld any defective runs; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
