Immediate opening: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Warren County, Tennessee. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Overtime paid at a premium rate.
