Now hiring: we are hiring a plasterer in Midland County, Texas. You will work in a refurbishment property. The role involves: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
