Fusing press operator wanted in Meade County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Meade County, Kansas. You will be based in a busy laundry. On a typical shift you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
