Port container crane operator wanted in Jackson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Jackson County, Texas. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals Day to day you will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
