Gantry crane operator • Ohio County, Kentucky

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Ohio County, Kentucky. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. The role involves carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
