Crane rigger wanted in Cattaraugus County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Cattaraugus County, New York. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
