Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Nuckolls County, Nebraska. Day-to-day duties: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
