Join our team: panel welder (Akwa Ibom State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Essien Udim, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day to day you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
