Gang bricklayer wanted in Nicholas County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Nicholas County, Kentucky. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. You will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Six days a week, one day off. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
