EHS coordinator — North Slope Borough

Vacancy available: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in North Slope Borough, Alaska. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors.
