We are recruiting: scullery hand (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring a scullery hand in Val Verde County, Texas. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. The role involves: • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles You should have: • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
