Rigger — Blount County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Blount County, Alabama. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals Your main tasks: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
