Semi-automatic welder — Nevada County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Nevada County, California. The job is at a busy production line. On the job you will handle: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
