Construction labourer • Rush County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction labourer in Rush County, Indiana. You will be based on a building construction site. On a typical shift you will mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour. Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Part-time with flexible hours.
