Immediate opening: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Kit Carson County, Colorado. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
