Pipe lagger — Decatur County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Decatur County, Indiana. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Willing to travel between sites Day-to-day duties: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
