Plastering hand wanted in County Durham

Join our team: we are hiring a plastering hand in County Durham, England. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Your main tasks: • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer £12 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
