Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Galveston County, Texas. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron You will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control.
