Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Menard County, Illinois. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
