Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Houston County, Texas. The job is on a window-and-door production line. On the job you will handle: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Rotating shifts.
