Flatlock machine operator • Whitley County, Kentucky

Join our team: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Whitley County, Kentucky. Day to day you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
