Head baker • Pacific County, Washington

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head baker in Pacific County, Washington. The job is at a cake shop. Day to day you will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience.
