We are recruiting: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Franklin County, Vermont. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
