Lorry driver — Midland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lorry driver in Midland County, Michigan. You should have: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
