Lathe programmer-operator — Worcester County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Worcester County, Maryland. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm On a typical shift you will run first-off inspection and sign off the part; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54).
