Offshore rigger — Winona County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Winona County, Minnesota. You will work at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 1+ years on the tools preferred.
