Core maker wanted in Harper County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a core maker in Harper County, Oklahoma. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Your main tasks: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
