D6/D8 dozer operator — King William County

Now hiring: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in King William County, Virginia. You will be based at a busy earthworks site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence The role involves maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,750 per project, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
