Conventional mill operator — Madison County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Madison County, Ohio. The job is in a die and mould making unit. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T On a typical shift you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
