Tree and shrub pruner — Uintah County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Uintah County, Utah. You will work in a botanical garden. You should have: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
