Steel fixer — Cabarrus County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. You will work at a high-rise construction project. You will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
