Bench joiner — Oldham County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bench joiner in Oldham County, Kentucky. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Your main tasks: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails You should have: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent 5+ years on the tools preferred.
