Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Whitfield County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather 1+ years on the tools preferred.
