We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrical technician in Jones County, Iowa. The job is in a power distribution substation. Your main tasks: • Install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands Ideal candidate: • Normal colour vision for cable identification • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
