Container truck driver — Clay County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a container truck driver in Clay County, Illinois. The job is at a logistics warehouse. You will check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading. What we are looking for: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Confident with manual handling and load securing 2+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $210 per day plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
