Immediate opening: lifting rigger (Kano State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Fagge, Kano State. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Rotating shifts.
