Mechanical press operator — Grant County

Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Grant County, Indiana. You will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
