Backhoe operator — Calhoun County

Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Calhoun County, Texas. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs On a typical shift you will strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
