Vacuum press operator — Miller County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Miller County, Georgia. You will be based at a garment factory. Day to day you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits.
