Head baker — Whitley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a head baker in Whitley County, Indiana. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. On a typical shift you will proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends.
