Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Irion County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding 1+ years on the tools preferred.
