CNC mill setter-operator • Sagadahoc County, Maine

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Sagadahoc County, Maine. The job is at an automotive components factory. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Your main tasks: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Overtime paid at a premium rate.
