Join our team: overlocker operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Lipscomb County, Texas. You will work at a busy garment factory. Day to day you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
