Crane rigger — Grant County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Grant County, New Mexico. The job is in a steel fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness 3+ years on the tools preferred.
