Cement mason — Los Alamos County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cement mason in Los Alamos County, New Mexico. You will work in a residential housing project. The role involves set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Six days a week, one day off.
