Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in City of Colonial Heights, Virginia. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. The role involves select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
