Lifting rigger — Nsit Ibom

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Nsit Ibom, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Full-time with occasional weekends.
