Garden maintenance worker — Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Jackson County, Illinois. You will be based in a residential garden complex. Day to day you will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters. Ideal candidate: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Full-time with occasional weekends.
