Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Clarke County, Alabama. You will be based on a quarry floor. Requirements: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Day to day you will form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction.
